I didn’t come to Insurance from Football - that’s another Kurt
Warner - but from the seasonal tourism industry. For roughly 15
years I worked and lived in the
seasonal industry. Early in my seasonal career I learned that I had
an eye for the camera. As a result of this newfound passion I worked
and lived during the summers in places such as Yellowstone
NP, Mt. Rainier NP and Denali National Park.
I also spent 4 summers working as a Bear Viewing Tour Guide
in several remote locations in
Alaska.
During the winters I could be found working at Ski Resorts
such as Vail, Steamboat, Alta, Snowbird & Jackson Hole.
One day while I was
guiding a client salmon fishing on a remote
river in Alaska I was asked when am I going to start

coming going to the places I’ve spent years working as a tourist. I made a promise to my client that one day I would come back to the very same lodge as a client. After that day I did a lot of soul searching. I decided to settle down in Jackson, Wyoming where I worked for a while as a hotel manager at the ski area. So here I was back in the seasonal business only it was more or less a year round job.
During this time I found myself needing better health insurance coverage than what was being offered through my job. I spoke to several Insurance Agents about getting coverage. I ended up going with a plan that was touted to offer great coverage. Well to make a long story short that plan turned out to be worthless. I encountered some health issues and I ended up paying more out of my pocket than the insurance paid out of theirs! Not a single agent asked me why I was looking for Health Insurance. None of them asked me what kind of health insurance I was looking for. None of them seemed to think that finding out what my overall needs were important to helping me find the right plan.
So one thing led to another and here I am a Licensed Health Insurance Broker in 7 States. I get great satisfaction from this job by knowing that I am helping people make the right choices. My recommendations are not based on what my needs are; they are based on what my client’s needs are.
I look forward to working with you soon!
